Churches of Green to host luncheon and tour of buildings
The Green Clergy Association is sponsoring an ecumenical progressive luncheon and tour of churches beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday. The event begins with soup and a tour at St. Nikola Orthodox Church, 5305 Massillon Road. The second stop is St. George Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, 4665 Applegrove Road, where soup and a tour begin at 1:45 p.m. Salad and a tour begin at 2:30 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road. The final stop, for dessert and a tour, is Lakeview Christian Church, 4613 S. Main St.The luncheon and tour are being done in observance of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
